Luxury Spa Set in Pure Organic Cotton Friday, Jan 14 2011

This bath set was made as part of a gift exchange with a spa theme. Love the colors! They’re a pure organic cotton bath puff, and matching washcloths in a star shape.

Loom Knit Hat Friday, Dec 31 2010

This is a basic loom knit hat, child sized, made for my cousin’s kid.

Filigree Cardigan Sunday, Dec 26 2010

Two weeks of work, a lot of self-educating, and a few lessons learned, and I have myself a new sweater – the first sweater I have ever made. This beauty is called a Filigree Cardigan, and although the pattern was a little confusing at times, photos of others’ finished projects and my own guesswork got me through just fine. I really enjoy the finished project!

Pretty Sock Yarn Scarves Friday, Dec 17 2010

I’ve already made a couple of these, and I plan to make more in lots of fun colors.

Knit Party Scarf Friday, Dec 17 2010

Gotta love this silky, shiny yarn!

Calorimetry Friday, Dec 17 2010

Fun headband, wide enough to keep you warm, but lets your hair hang free. Perfect for girls!

Shiver Hat Friday, Dec 17 2010

This hat is child sized, and my first attempt at knitted colorwork. I love the pattern, and I’ll try again eventually in an adult size.

A Finished Set! Tuesday, Dec 7 2010

Hat, scarf, and wristers. And I also have a pair of leg warmers in this set, although I am not wearing them in the photo.

Sock Yarn Tarot Bags Tuesday, Dec 7 2010

One of the cool things about sock yarn is that it comes in such a multitude of fun colors. I love making bags that match the color schemes of my decks or that compliment the back patterns. These are some of the sock yarn bags I’ve made this year.

A Wedding Gift Tuesday, Dec 7 2010

I have to admit, as much as I love my friends, I might not have started this wedding afghan if I had known how hard it would be. Not that the stitches were hard, but that it took forever, especially when it came time to weave in the ends. My husband helped with that part, and it took us 7 months of working on it practically all the time. But our friends loved it, so it was worth it in the end. Just remind me not to get any more bright ideas!!!

And here is a little closeup detail of one of the squares.
